Thank you for your confidence in referring your patient(s) to our practice. You can expect timely information from us concerning your patient's visit, treatment plan and results.

Pre Surgery Clearance
Occasionally medical or cardiac clearance will be necessary prior to scheduling surgery. Depending on your preference, you can provide the medical clearance or we can schedule the medical clearance with a cardiologist.
Urgent Surgical Consults
If you have an urgent surgical consult that needs to be seen immediately, please call our office. Ask for the doctor on call and arrangements can be made to see the patient that day. It is important for our surgeon to speak with the referring physician to learn more about the case, so please understand this needs to be a physician to physician call.
Surgical Consults
Please call our office to make a referral. Your office staff may ask for a specific physician or the first available physician.
EGD/Colonoscopy
Call Ambulatory Care at 755.521.1310 to schedule a colonoscopy or EGD. Based on the patient’s medical history the Ambulatory Care nurse will determine if your patient needs to see the surgeon prior to the procedure. The surgeon will want to see your patient prior to the procedure if one of these high risk conditions is present:

Hx of Lung Disease
-
Hx of Heart Disease
-
Hx of Kidney Disease
-
Diabetic with Blood Sugar >200
-
Insulin Dependent Diabetic
-
Previous Colectomy
-
Taking Coumadin/Blood thinner
-
Use home oxygen
