New Advanced Wound Center Offers Expert Care for Difficult Wounds & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Our Advanced Wound Center has a new location, extended hours and offers a new level of wound healing treatment. We're now located on the Hospital's ground floor between the Gift Shop and Cashier's office and we are open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Our experienced team of physicians, nurses, dietitians and other staff are specially trained in wound care evaluation and treatment.

We Care for Wounds That Aren't Healing Such As:

• Diabetic wounds
• Pressure ulcers or bedsores
• Vascular, arterial and venous statis ulcers
• Non-healing surgical, infected, burn and trauma wounds
• Radiation-induced injuries
• Skin tears
• Other types of wounds that aren't healing

Warning Signs If Your Wound Isn't Healing
Everyone experiences wounds but most heal on their own with minor care and treatment. But if your wound isn't healing you could have a serious problem that could result in an infection, illness or loss of a limb such as a leg or arm. • Persistent increased pain in the area of the wound
• Discoloration of the wound near the edges of the wound-often a dark or bluish color
• Increased drainage from the wound
• Redness or swelling around or spreading away from the wound
• A foul odor coming from the wound
