Inpatient Surgery and Recovery
After surgery and recovery in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), our surgery patients recover in the Hospital's Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
In PCU you'll feel like you are in an upscale hotel rather than a hospital with the warm and soothing colors, private bathrooms, internet access and other family-oriented comforts.
Outpatient Surgery
Thanks to surgical advancements with laparoscopic surgery, we perform many surgeries on an outpatient basis in the Hospital's Ambulatory Care Unit located adjacent to the Surgery Department.
After surgery you will initially recover in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will then be transferred to Ambulatory Care for your final recovery and discharge instructions before going home.
Colonoscopy
Two endoscopy suites are available for colonoscopies making it easier to schedule most colonoscopies in the morning. After the colonoscopy, you will recover in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) before going home.
