Primary Care and Specialists

 

Our primary care physicians include family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics.

 

We offer specialty care in anesthesiology, cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine and radiology.

 

And, if you need referrals for additional specialty care either in New Castle or another community, we coordinate these referrals for you.

 

All of our physicians share a secure, wireless communication network with Henry County Hospital allowing them to easily access your lab and imaging test results from the hospital, their office or from their home.

 

We are particularly proud that the 32 physicians who are members of Henry County Hospital Medical Group are 97% board certified / board eligible.

 

Web Based Patient Education Programs

 

We also participate in Emmi(R), a web-based, interactive patient education program. Written in easy-to-understand language, Emmi(R) provides patients with clear, concise information about their medical condition, the risks and benefits of treatment, alternatives to surgery and what to expect before and after their procedure.

 

Since Emmi(R) is web-based, patients can view it on their own schedule, at their own pace and share the information with family members.

 

Physicians offer the program to their patients who are given an access code to review information based ontheir specific medical or surgical need.
